Here is some important information regarding your benefits. You may only make changes to your benefit elections during Open Enrollment, or if you experience a mid-year "qualified status change (see page 5 of the 2023 Employee Benefits Overview brochure). Open Enrollment is generally held in the month of October with changes effective January 1.

New for 2024:
In order to ensure that all medical plans offered by the Department provide as consistent coverage as possible, the Department has added a hearing aid benefit to the Active and Early Retiree Anthem PPO plans effective 1/1/24. Coverage is limited to one hearing aid device per ear every 36 months. The cost for the addition of this benefit will be reflected in the premium rates for the 2025 plan year.
